Freefall Xtreme prides itself with its efforts to minimise its impacts environmentally, socially and economically. Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter has invited us to join, and we have acquired the Enviro Silver Award for our efforts. For the last 3 years we have been monitoring and developing our operation along with the entire Agroventures site. Some of the things we have implemented include:
- Energy efficient light bulbs
- Fair Trade coffee
- Recycling our rubbish
- Landscaping - planting local flora
- Economical fuel usage
- Powered items switched off when not in use
- Bio-degradable degreasers
- Recycle engine water
Our operation is regularly modified to operate that little bit more sustainably. We are open to ideas on how we can further minimise our impacts, so feel free to contact us with any ideas.
